About the creator

Our creator Frank Salgado is a Bay Area Native who was born in San Francisco and raised in San Bruno, and is now a resident of Hayward, CA. He is a 1st generation Nicaraguan-American with family roots in San Francisco. From a very young age, he has always expressed creativity through drawing, writing and even designing his own toys with scraps from auto parts. His vivid imagination continues to this day and wishes to share his creative expression via t-shirts and other arts. He is an absolute believer in collaboration with multiple artists to produce exclusive and unique designs. His goal with Young Frank Apparel is to express his imagination and creativity via his apparel. He graduated from San Francisco State university with a Cinema Degree with an emphasis in screen writing production. It was during this time that he realized that collaborating with several other artists is not only fun, but it makes for great creative results and endless possibilities. Frank has stayed close with his Nicaraguan roots, which inspires him with comedic ideas and designs. He is also a die hard Bay Area sports fan which also inspire his collections. To add, Frank has many interests which includes: movies, music, cars, nature, traveling, the occult, history and more.
